Applewatch blogger Joe Wilcox wrote this week about the wide discrepancy between the average sale prices of Windows personal computers and Macs. A Mac laptop, for example, is about twice as expensive as a PC laptop.

Hardware expert Dwight Silverman told Jon Gordon that, as prices for PCs have decreased, their relative power has increased. He says Apple can't maintain its premium price structure forever.
