Privacy is an antiquated notion, according to Steven Rambam, a New York private investigator.
At the H.O.P.E. hackers convention last week, Rambam talked about how he uses the Internet to investigate cold case homicides, missing people and financial fraud.
Private databases, e-mail, the Web and social networks have made it a breeze to profile people, said Rambam.
