The unsettled questions on stem cells

Midmorning addresses the ethical, policy, and legal issues surrounding stem cell science with a medical expert and a legal expert. Both have written books that take on questions about cloning, embryo use and ownership, and patents.

• Russell Korobkin: Professor of law at the UCLA School of Law and senior fellow at the UCLA Center for Society and Genetics. He is the author of "Stem Cell Century."
• Leo Furcht: Author of "The Stem Cell Dilemma" and head of the department of laboratory medicine and pathology at the University of Minnesota. He is also chair of the board for University of Minnesota physicians.
