Minnesota organist wins international competition

St. Paul, Minn. — An organ player from Elk River, Minn., is about to set off on a European tour to play on some of the world's most-famous pipe-organs.
Joseph Ripka won the 2008 Dublin International Organ Competition in Ireland last weekend. He beat out 38 other competitors from 15 countries, earning the top prize of 5,000 Euros and an impressive recital schedule.
He joined host Greta Cunninghman to talk about his favorite organ piece, which he performed in the competition.
