Reaction to the Supreme Court's rejection of the D.C. gun ban
In the first definitive ruling on gun rights in U.S. history, today the United States Supreme Court struck down the Washington D.C. gun ban and ruled that individuals have the right to own guns for self-defense and hunting. It was a 5-4 ruling.
