Getting around the high cost of fuel

St. Paul, Minn. — As we head into the Memorial Day weekend and the start of the summer travel season, gas prices are approaching an unprecedented $4 per gallon.

Midday broadcasts Minnesota Public Radio's Rising Gas Prices series, which takes a look at some of the ways Minnesotans are responding to high gas prices -- what kind of cars they're buying, the extreme measures they're using to improve mileage, and how they're getting out of their cars altogether.
