Minnesota Arrival

One arts critic unimpressed with Minnesota's sesquicentennial

May 15, 2008

St. Paul, Minn. — More than 25 historic aircraft, some dating to before World War II, will soar over the State Capitol this weekend to mark Minnesota's 150th anniversary as a state.

It's part of a series of events that will end a week-long celebration of the state's birthday.

Morning Edition arts commentator Dominic Paptola, however, has been unimpressed with the celebration.
