The Kills perform in The Current studios

St. Paul, Minn. — The Kills consists of vocalist / guitarist VV (aka Alison Mosshart) and drummer / guitarist / vocalist Hotel (aka Jamie Hince).

In the spring of 2001, they released their demo, which earned favorable reviews from several music magazines and led to their debut EP "Black Rooster" being released in the summer of 2002.

The Kills embarked on an eight week U.S. tour before returning to London to complete their debut full-length "Keep On Your Mean Side" in the spring of 2003. By 2005, The Kills had released their second album, "No Wow."

Their latest CD, "Midnight Boom," was released in the states in early 2008 and the band is currently on tour in support of that project.
