Take that, rogue satellite

St. Paul, Minn. — The United States shoots down a defunct spy satellite. Or, as officials put it, the "kill vehicle" successfully collided with the "target" at a combined speed of 22,000 mph about 130 miles above Earth's surface.
Host Mary Lucia and reporter Nikki Tundel discuss just why one would want to shoot down a satellite and ponder just how much other space junk is still up there in orbit.
