St. Paul, Minn. — People who depend on their wireless Blackberry devices may have felt uncomfortably "out-of-the-loop" today.
The company that makes the device reported a major Blackberry outage across North America today.
The wireless phones that can also send and receive e-mail have become a staple for many users, earning it the name of the "Crackberry." The devices are especially popular with business users.
Jon Gordon joined "All Things Considered" host Tom Crann to discuss the outage. Gordon is the host of Minnesota Public Radio's "Future Tense".
