Explaining the Steroid Era

St. Paul, Minn. — There is continued reaction Friday to the Mitchell Report on steroid use in baseball. The 20-month investigation had plenty of blame for all of the parties involved, from management to individual players. It also coined the phrase the "Steroid Era" for the past decade of of baseball. The former Senator's report implicated 85 past and present players in the process.

Dr. Jon Hallberg is the regular medical analyst on All Things Considered, but he has also been the medical director of the Minnesota Twins' Employee Assistance Program for 11 seasons. Dr. Hallberg spoke with All Things Considered host Tom Crann, providing context and reaction to the report.
