Chemicals in toys make some parents uneasy

U.S. and Chinese officials meet this week for high-level talks on product safety, among other issues. Health and Human Service Secretary Mike Leavitt says he's confident the two nations are working together well to improve safety problems with Chinese-made toys and food products.

But parents are finding they have more to worry about than lead in in Chinese-made toys as they do their holiday shopping. MPR' Tom Crann talks with Nanci Olesen, who reports on family matters for Minnesota Public Radio, about the chemicals that go into making many modern toys and why some parents are keeping those products away from their kids.
