St. Paul, Minn. — The winter storm forecast to hit Minnesota on Saturday is poised to drop more than six inches of snow. Keeping the roads open is a big job.

Kent Barnard is an information officer for MnDOT and he also works as a snow plow operator. He spoke with All Things Considered host Tom Crann about how the Department of Transportation is preparing to keep the roads open during the storm.
