Election Day 2008 is a year away and most political analysts and strategists agree that the Internet is going to play an even bigger role in campaigns than it did in 2004.

Political bloggers reflect and shape political opinion, and their readership skyrockets as big elections approach.

Scott Johnson knows this well. He is one of the writers and founders of the blog Powerline, one of the country's most popular sources for conservative opinion.
