The New Pornographers perform in The Current studio

St. Paul, Minn. — Bringing together talented people to start a band can be an amazing accomplishment, especially if all of those talented people are already working on individual projects.

This was the case for the Vancouver indie rock super group The New Pornographers, which was formed in 1996, but didn't release their debut album, "Mass Romantic," until the fall of 2000. Since then, they've managed to release three follow-up albums including their latest released in 2007, "Challengers."

Songs performed: "All The Old Show Stoppers", "My Right Versus Yours" and "Adventures In Solitude"
