Ulrich Schnauss performs in the Current studio

by Bill DeVille, Minnesota Public Radio
October 1, 2007

St. Paul, Minn. — Some bands don't like to be categorized as "shoegazer" music. Ulrich Schnauss takes it as a complement to be compared to artists such as My Bloody Valentine.

The day after his show at The Triple Rock Social Club, Ulrich joined Bill DeVille in The Current studio to chat about his move from Germany to London, the bands he likes and how he constructs a song. His new album, Goodbye, was released in the U.S. this past summer.

Songs performed: "Einfeld," and "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow/Stars."
