St. Paul, Minn. — Former Vice President Al Gore says global warming has become a "planetary emergency." He also says big energy companies are financing a campaign of misinformation to convince the public that scientists disagree about global warming. He discussed his concerns during a recent conversation with venture capitalist John Doerr at the Aspen Institute.
