When the Minnesota Timberwolves open their season this fall, they will be without the best player in franchise history.

Former league MVP Kevin Garnett has been traded to the Boston Celtics. In exchange, the Wolves will get five Boston players, two first round draft picks, and an unspecified amount of cash.
