For the love of fly fishing, family and words

St. Paul, Minn. — St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman loves great writing. He considers authors Tim O'Brien and Kurt Vonnegut craftsmen with words, and he says he reads a wide variety of books.

When he came to MPR's studio, he had one book in hand: "A River Runs Through It." Mayor Coleman said he's a trout angler, but his connection to this Norman Maclean book runs much deeper than his interest in fishing.
