U.S. Rep. John Kline has introduced legislation that would make the Minnesota National Guard's "Beyond the Yellow Ribbon" program a model other states would adopt.
St. Paul, Minn. — The Minnesota National Guard "Beyond the Yellow Ribbon" program helps service members return to civilian life after experiencing the extremes of war.
Sens. Norm Coleman and Amy Klobuchar are now sponsors of the companion bill in the U.S. Senate.
Maj. John Morris is a Chaplain with the Minnesota National Guard and is involved with the "Beyond the Yellow Ribbon" program. He spoke with All Things Considered host Tom Crann about the program.
