Author David Halberstam won a Pulitzer for chronicling Vietnam


David Halberstam, who won a Pulitzer Prize for his Vietnam War reporting when he was only 30, died Monday in car crash. He was 73. Halberstam gave the keynote address at a historic conference on Vietnam last year at the Kennedy Library in Boston.
