St. Paul, Minn. — The state budget bills in the Minnesota House are expected to hit the chamber's floor this week at the Capitol.
The DFL House leadership has already signaled its support for increasing income taxes on top earners and using the money mainly for lowering property taxes. Gov. Tim Pawlenty has said he'd veto such a plan if it gets to his desk.
