Minnesota high-tech entrepreneurs share their secrets

The Minnesotans who founded YouTube, Geek Squad and Funco, Inc. offered tips to aspiring entrepreneurs in a recent panel discussion at the University of St. Thomas.

The speakers were: Jawed Karim, who co-founded the video sharing Web site YouTube, Robert Stephens, who founded the computer repair company Geek Squad, David Pomije, who founded the used video game retailer Funco, Inc. and Michael Gorman, managing director of the Minneapolis venture capital firm Split Rock Partners.
