St. Paul, Minn. — Residents in Browns Valley, Minnesota are facing yet another challenge from the weather, blowing snow. Strong winds are whipping around about six inches of snow that caused schools to close yesterday.
The snow is on top of the three inches of rain that fell in the far western Minnesota town over the weekend. All of that comes just weeks after the area flooded.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer checked in with Browns Valley Mayor Jeff Backer about what the recent winter weather will mean for the flooded town.
