Badly Drawn Boy performs at the Fitzgerald Theater

St. Paul, Minn. — Mercury Music Prize winner Damon Gough chose his stage name from the title character in the British television show Sam and his Magic Ball.

His new album, Born in the U.K., aims to explain Gough's experience of growing up in the United Kingdom.

Damon and rest of the band stopped by The Fitzgerald Theater for a live performance and interview with The Current's Mark Wheat

Songs performed: "Born In The UK," "Journey From A To B," "Degrees Of Separation," and "Promises."
