Should Minnesota legalize medical marijuana?

Broadcast: Midday, 03/08/2007, 11:06 a.m.

Eleven other states already allow marijuana for medical uses, and the Minnesota Legislature has debated it in years past. But this year it looks like a bill may actually pass.

Guests

Steve Sviggum: Minnesota state representative, R-Kenyon. Sviggum, a former speaker of the House, is a co-author of the medical marijuana bill.

James Backstrom: Dakota County Attorney. Backstrom opposes legalizing marijuana for medical purposes.
