Walz on health care for veterans

St. Paul, Minn. — While President Bush meets with former Senator Bob Dole and Donna Shalala about a special investigation both are heading up into the bad conditions and care at the Walter Reed Medical Center, Congressional hearings are taking place on the same issue.

Congressman Tim Walz, DFL-Minn. will also be listening to veterans as a member of the U.S. House Committee on Veterans Affairs.

Cathy Wurzer talked with Congressman Walz, who says the Walter Reed situation may be just the most visible of problems within the military health care system as more wounded come back from Iraq and Afghanistan.
