Three seasoned war reporters discussed the similarities and differences between the Iraq War and the Vietnam War Saturday in New York City at an event organized by the New York Times.

• Dexter Filkins: Iraq War correspondent for the New York Times.
• David Halberstam: Pulitzer Prize-winning Vietnam War reporter.
• Bernard Trainor: Retired Marine Lieutenant General, who served two tours of duty in Vietnam. After retiring from the armed forces, Trainor worked as a military correspondent for the New York Times.
