The many programs and systems in place for tracking criminals in Minnesota are known by various acronyms. Here's a list of the most common.

ARMER -- Allied Radio Matrix for Emergency Response

CIBRS -- Comprehensive Incident Based Reporting System

CCH -- Computerized Criminal History

CWA -- Court Web Access

CJDN -- Criminal Justice Data Network

COMS -- Correctional Operations Management System

SSS -- Statewide Supervision System

POR -- Predatory Offender Registry

MARS -- Mobile Automated Field Reporting Systems, used by the State Patrol

NEIS -- Name Enhancement Index Service

MJNO -- Multiple Jurisdiction Network Organization. This Web site was closed down because of data privacy concerns.

MRAP -- Minnesota Repository of Arrest Photos

TCIS -- Total Court Information System (The old system)

MNCIS -- Minnesota Court Information System (The new system)
