Minneapolis loses three public libraries
December 21, 2006
St. Paul, Minn. — Three branches of the Minneapols Public Library system will close by the end of this year. Members of the Library Board approved a budget last night that shuts down the Roosevelt, Webber Park and Southeast Community branches. They could reopen this summer if additional money is appropriated by the Legislature. Joining us now with more is Anita Duckor, president of the Minneapolis Public Library board.
