An early analysis of Sen. Johnson's condition

St. Paul, Minn. — South Dakota Democratic Sen. Tim Johnson is in critical condition, after undergoing brain surgery late Wednesday. He was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after suffering stroke-like symptoms.

Johnson's staff has said he did not suffer a stroke or heart attack. MPR's Cathy Wurzer talks with medical analyst Dr. Jon Hallberg about Johnson's condition.
