St. Paul, Minn. — The St. Paul City Council unanimously approved Mayor Chris Coleman's 2007 budget Wednesday. The package totals nearly $514 million and calls for an increase in the police force.
To cover that, and other programs, property taxpayers will see an 8.5 percent increase in their tax bills.
After the Council adjourned, MPR's Tom Crann spoke with Mayor Coleman told about what's in the budget.
