Season's greetings from Twin Cities stages

by Chris Roberts, Minnesota Public Radio

It's another jammed holiday entertainment schedule in the Twin Cities this year. There are Nutcrackers galore, Scrooge at the Guthrie, the Grinch at the Children's Theatre Company, and some singers dreaming of a White Christmas at the Ordway. But that's not all.

Minnesota Public Radio's Chris Roberts put together an audio sampler of some shows that may be slightly below the radar this holiday season, including "Lutefisk Champ and Other Frozen Holiday Tales" at the History Theatre, "Secret Letters to Santa" at the Bryant-Lake Bowl, "A Christmas Story" at Mounds Theatre, Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company's production of "The Odd Potato" at Hillcrest Center Theater, and "The Seven Poor Travelers" at Illusion Theater. Our montage was produced by Minnesota Public Radio's Chris Roberts.
