TV on the Radio performs in studio

by Bill DeVille, Minnesota Public Radio
October 8, 2006

St. Paul, Minn. — TV on the Radio, like so many other bands these days, comes from Brooklyn. But they are certainly not a cookie-cutter indie-rock band.

The core of the group are Tunde Adebimpe, Kyp Malone, and David Andrew Sitek. Their music can sound like a film score, improved electronica, or as accessible as any band out there.

The Current's Bill DeVille talked with them about their art, both musical and visual.

Songs performed: "Young Liars," "Dry Drunk Emperor," and "Wash the Day Away."
