St. Paul, Minn. — The Washington Post calls Minnesota writer David Treuer's new book "enjoyable and exhilarating." "The Translation of Dr. Apelles" follows two stories, one set in modern times and one set a century in the past. The book is literary, but also a gripping love story with a bit of mystery thrown in.
