Campaign 2006

It's polling time again

September 25, 2006

St. Paul, Minn. — The newest poll in the race for United States Senate looks a lot like the previous ones. In the latest Minnesota Public Radio/Pioneer Press poll numbers, DFLer Amy Klobuchar leads her Republican opponent Mark Kennedy by 15 percentage points, with nine percent undecided, and one percent each for IP Candidate Robert Fitzgerald and the Green Party's Michael Cavlan.

The midterm election is just weeks away, which means it's polling season. Our regular media analyst David Brauer has been keeping his eye on the polls, and talks more about how they fit into the news organizations which commission them.
