Asobi Seksu peforms live in studio

St. Paul, Minn. — Asobi Seksu could possibly come across like the most recent Japanese pop/indie import to hit the states, but this quartet hails from Brooklyn, NY and proves those rumors wrong with atmospheric reverb and effects that closely resembles NY guitar noise ensembles like Sonic Youth and Yo La Tengo.

The band dropped by the station with host Jill Riley and discussed their new album Citrus and the irritating comparison to shoe gazers that seems to plague many indie bands today.
