DFL attorney general candidates debate
Minnesota DFLers have three attorney general candidates to choose from when they vote in the primary election on Sept. 12. Steve Kelley, Bill Luther and Lori Swanson make their cases to the voters.

Lori Swanson: DFL candidate for attorney general. Swanson is currently Minnesota's solicitor general.

Steve Kelley: DFL candidate for attorney general. Kelley is currently a state senator. He dropped out of the race for governor in June after failing to secure his party's endorsement.

Bill Luther: DFL candidate for attorney general. Luther was a congressman for 8 years before being defeated by Republican Rep. John Kline in 2002.
