Minnesota State Fair 2006

It's a shoe...It's a tank...It's art!

by Cathy Wurzer, Minnesota Public Radio

Falcon Heights, Minn. — Among the attractions that visitors can check out at the Minnesota State Fair are all of the items that have been judged; everything from livestock to pickles to quilts and dolls. One of the most competitive categories is fine art.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer stopped by the Fine Arts building at the fair with artist Stacey Davidson who is also a painting instructor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. After taking in the show, Stacey shared her impressions of the work.
