St. Paul, Minn. — Spring is usually associated with new life and rebirth, but on her new CD, Jolie Holland looks at spring from a different point of view.

Springtime Can Kill You chronicles an ugly breakup during a beautiful San Francisco spring. Jolie Holland performed two previously unreleased songs and talked with The Current's Jill Riley.
