Film director Kevin Smith, aka "Silent Bob," speaks
Smth says in its own way, the movie "Clerks," featuring two layabout convenience store workers was just about perfect. Smith says after convincing himself the sequel was a good idea, he had a bigger problem. He had to convince the other stars.
The first "Clerks" followed a day in the life of Dante and Randal, two guys supposedly looking after a grocery store.
Really they were just lolling around, being rude to customers and playing the occasional game of hockey on the roof. They also sparred with Jay and Silent Bob, the two small-time dealers selling dope outside the store.
Kevin Smith says "Clerks II" is very different. He spoke to MPR's Euan Kerr.
