Summer school in Minneapolis: A progress report

Minneapolis, Minn. — This summer, we've been visiting South High School in Minneapolis to go beyond the debates about education policy and get a better understanding of what really happens in classrooms.

Halfway through the summer session at South High School, Morning Edition's Jim Bickal checked in teachers and students to see how the classes have been going.

He spoke with South High students Jorge Segovia, Kiswana McCloud and Wil Walinski and teachers Marcia Sutherland and Joe Musich.
