Melissa Bank hits "The Wonder Spot"
Melissa Bank's new book "The Wonder Spot" follows the life of a young woman from adolescence to the cusp of middle age.

Author Melissa Bank blasted onto the literary scene with her book "The Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing."
The novel was a runaway success and will become a film starring Sarah Michelle Geller and Alec Baldwin.
Yet it took Bank five years to publish her next novel "The Wonder Spot."
The book is a series of bittersweet stories about the life and adventures of Sophie Applebaum. Bank told Minnesota Public Radio's Euan Kerr most days Sophie is just muddling through.
