Gary Louris and "Wordplay"

St. Paul, Minn. — Gary Louris of The Jayhawks and Golden Smog loves a crossword puzzle. In down times during recordings, he'll get out the crossword and start working. So it is perfect that he wrote music for the new documentary "Wordplay" about the people who make crossword puzzles and the folks obsessed with solving them.

He and Kraig Johnson stopped by to talk about Golden Smog and the movie with Mary Lucia and to play a couple songs.
