Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty officially launched his re-election campaign Wednesday in his hometown of Eagan. Democratic challengers will be vying for their party's endorsement next week. The Independence Party will annoint its candidate, Peter Hutchinson, at a convention on June 24.
