The "most endangered" places in Minnesota
by Tom Crann, Minnesota Public RadioSt. Paul, Minn. — Two barns, one fire station, a hotel, and one Minneapolis street are among the most endangered historic places in Minnesota, according to a list announced by the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota.
This is the 13th year the group has issued their list of endangered historic places. Some are listed for their architectural value, and others for their historic significance.
MPR's Tom Crann talked with Bonnie MacDonald, the executive director of the Preservation Alliance. She says the same process that produces great new places has a tendency to threaten old ones.
