St. Paul, Minn. — Director Robert Altman, Garrison Keillor, and the cast of the "A Prairie Home Companion" movie are celebrating is Midwest premiere Wednesday night in St. Paul.

Several of them talked about the movie in a morning news conference. Altman, who is one of the most celebrated directors in film, described how the idea of shooting a movie with Garrison Keillor was first planted in his mind.
