Balancing government secrets with public oversight

The CIA analyst fired in connection with a Washington Post story exposing the U.S. government's secret overseas prisons denied through her lawyer Monday that she was the source for the story. It's the latest in a series of issues that question how to balance the government's need for secrecy with the public's right to know.
