South, a trio who hail from London, share keyboard, guitar, bass and percussion duties. And they change music styles just like they change instruments.

St. Paul, Minn. — They've been called electronica and rock. They've also made instrumental soundscapes for movies. Joel Cadbury, Brett Shaw, and Jamie McDonald's sound has been compared to The Beatles, The Stone Roses, Elbow, and almost every British band of the last 30 years except for Black Sabbath. (For the record, they don't sound anything like Black Sabbath).

Song performed: "Safety in Numbers," "Up Close and Personal," and "A Place in Displacment."
