Director Nicole Holofcener worries about friends and money

St. Paul, Minn. — Valued old friendships can sometimes be tarnished when the subject of money comes up. That's what filmmaker Nicole Holofcener has observed.
She directed the critically acclaimed "Lovely and Amazing" a couple of years ago. Her new film is called "Friends with Money" and it sports an all-star ensemble cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Joan Cusack, Catherine Keener, and Frances McDormand.
Holofcener told Minnesota Public Radio's Euan Kerr that she began thinking about the film after noticing how difficult the subject of money can be for many people.
